Hi Upon arriving at the clinic Thursday 10.02.2022 i was greeted by an young lady who was not wearing a mask. I was then taken by a nurse who rushed me onto the scale and then directly took my blood pressure. I told her that the cuff was too small incidcated by the arrow on the cuff but she ignored me and continue to take my blood pressure.

I have arrived to see Prof. Dorota Dworakowska who is an amazing specialist and extremely friendly person. I have been diagnosed with cancer and I’ve been quite lost and confused with it all. Prof. Dworakowska had explained it all to me, she was extremely welcoming and understanding, she had answered all my questions in ways that I could understand! I cannot thank her enough! As well as I have been welcomed and treated with upmost respect and friendliness by all the other staff present. All of them deserve a recognition as I’ve never felt so welcome in no other private clinic.

The outpatients clinic is new and it feels overstaffed and confused. There are far too many people milling about - all very friendly - but stepping on each other's feet, and making the environment less professional and relaxing than it would otherwise be. I had to wait a long time in between appointments, which I understood, but there was a lot of background noise of staff chatting loudly. The process for booking appointments is confused and repetitive: you speak to a secretary, you receive (tons of) emails and then you get a call from a booking agent. Feels like you could streamline and simplify the whole process!

Everyone from the door staff, receptionists & nurses to Professor McGowan were helpful, friendly & professional. I learnt more & gained a better understanding with Professor McGowan in my 30 minute appointment, including a definitive diagnosis as to the cause of my condition, after 14 years of living with hypothyroidism. I would highly recommend Professor McGowan.
